Haircuts for everyone!

It’s getting warm out, so I had my summer haircut today. My girlfriend Jazzy had one too. My person and Jazzy’s person did them in our kitchen, with some sort of small electric cutting thingy. Plato says we look like someone put a bowl on our heads and cut around them. It’s a good look on us.

That foxtail was huge!

Today, I had to go to the vet and have the biggest foxtail ever taken out of my ear. I don’t know what it was doing in there, but it made me crazy. It itched and hurt and I shook my head and shook my head. But it didn’t help.

So, my person took me to see our vet. She’s okay, as vets go. I don’t really like going there because I only go there when I don’t feel well. But I always leave feeling better.

And now Plato is here for a sleep over. Although I’m still a little fuzzy from something they gave me at the vets. That guy has a lot of energy for a rainy day.

I’m bushed

My person and I went and stayed with Plato at his house. We went to the dog park three days in a row! Yesterday, we went for a long walk AND to the park. Today we went for another walk. I’m beat. I’m going to sleep on my person’s bed for the rest of the day.

I haven’t written in a long time because I didn’t feel well. My eyes were runny and I slept a lot. And then one morning, I didn’t eat my breakfast. My person rushed me to the vet, who poked around and said that probably the problem was that I didn’t feel well. Our vet is pretty smart.

I slept for a few days, then I felt better. Now, I’m pretty good again.

But then I didn’t write because we’ve been so very busy. We’re campaigning. I don’t actually know what that is. But it involves Hopper and Riley’s person and it takes a lot of time. And we have to go to a lot of meetings. We’ll be happier when there aren’t so many meetings. They just aren’t that interesting.

It’s almost supper time. I have to go stare at my person and think food thoughts. Sometimes I have to stare at her a long time before she gets the message. She’s kind of slow that way.

I hope something interesting happens soon. If it does, I’ll try to remember what it is and tell you all about it.

Today was a spa day! I went to this place where they gave me a bath with warm, soapy water. I helped. I leaned in really close so they wouldn’t miss anything. Then they brushed me and brushed me. I got a pawdicure and had my ears trimmed. I look so GOOD now.

Absolutely nothing happened today. Nothing happened yesterday either. Nobody came to play. I didn’t go anywhere. Well, o.k. We went on walks. But they hardly count. I have to walk my person every day to keep her healthy. And walking is not the same as playing. I’m not sure I’m built for this quiet life.

It stopped raining long enough for my person to take all of us to the dog park. And Plato was there! Wahoo. Now, we’re napping.
